Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 eggs
1 c. powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. chopped almonds
1 jigger whiskey or brandy
flour
powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream butter well.
Add eggs, sugar, baking powder and whiskey.
Mix well.
Add almonds.
Add enough flour to thicken and roll (about 3 cups).
Roll into size and shape of small finger. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 15 to 20 minutes.
Dip cold cookies into powdered sugar until well coated.
Makes about 30 dozen.
