Low Country Boil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small potato
    1/2 onion
    8 to 10 shrimp, caught same day and headed (not shelled)
    salt to taste
    1/2 corn-on-the-cob
    3 inches spicy sausage
    1 cleaned crab (crab is optional; cleaning is not)
Preparation
    Ingredients
    are
    measured
    for each person. In a large pot, boil
    potatoes.
    When
    they
    are
    almost done, add corn, onion and sausage.
    When this is almost done, add crab.
    When crab turn red, add shrimp until pink.
    Taste for doneness.
    Do not overcook.
    When
    ready to serve, put all ingredients onto large platter or table and let everyone help themselves.
