Mom'S Remarkable Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. butter
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 pt. marshmallow cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken nuts

Preparation

Butter sides of heavy 3-quart saucepan.
In it combine sugar, milk and butter.
Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (236\u00b0), stirring frequently.
Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients. Beat until chocolate is melted, blended.
Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Score, cool and cut in squares.
