Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
3 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 small carton sour cream
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
Add beaten egg yolks. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and add alternately with sour cream and soda.
Add lemon and vanilla.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in steeple pan at 275\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake approximately 55 more minutes.
