Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

white cake mix
1 box powdered sugar
1 cream cheese
2 (8 oz.) whipped topping
1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Mix cake mix as directed.
Cream powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth in a large mixing bowl; add whipped topping. Spread 1/3 of the topping mixture on bottom and sides of large bowl or plastic container.
Crumble cake with your fingers and place on top of mixture, following with remaining topping. Spread cherry pie filling on top.
Other fruit pie fillings can be used.
