Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking powder into bowl; cut in butter and cheese as for pie crust, using a pastry blender or 2 knives.
    Add water and mix well.
    Fill cookie press.
    Form straws on ungreased cooking sheets.
    Cut into desired lengths.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove at once to cooling racks.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
