Rich Sweet Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm (not hot) water
    1 c. lukewarm milk
    1 c. softened margarine or butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon rind
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Combine dissolved yeast and remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl.
    Beat until smooth, about 1 minute.
    Dough will be very soft.
    Cover with damp cloth. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
    Shape as desired.
    Use this rich dough as a basic for all kinds of sweet rolls and coffee cake.
