Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    14 large or 24 small cucumbers, cubed
    4 to 5 onions, sliced
Preparation
    Place cukes and onions in 2-quart jar.
    Pour liquid and spices over cukes and onions.
    Refrigerate 3 to 4 days.
