Irma Dalhart'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. quick cooking oats
    1 c. raisins or chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream first three ingredients.
    Add buttermilk.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add oats, nuts and raisins or chocolate chips.
    Mix well.
    Drop by spoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned, about 8 minutes.
