Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. large pecan pieces
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Beat eggs in a large bowl.
    Stir in sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, chocolate and vanilla; mix thoroughly but do not overbeat.
    Sprinkle pecans in shell.
    Pour filling mixture over pecans.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Lower heat to 325\u00b0 and continue to bake until filling is puffed and set about 45 to 50 minutes.
