Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. raisins
    2 cups water
    3 cups flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
    Simmer raisins in water for 15 minutes.
    Set aside.
    Mix flour and spices.
    Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, then raisins. Beat until smooth.
    Mix all ingredients well and pour into greased pan.
