Malasada(Doughnut Without The Hole) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c. warm water and 1 tsp. sugar
    7 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. Carnation cream
    1 c. warm water
    1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
    8 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and let stand until other ingredients are mixed.
    Measure flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl (the large Tupperware bowl is perfect).
    Mix cream and water together; add to dry ingredients.
    Add the melted butter and beaten eggs.
    Add the dissolved yeast and stir.
    Mix well to form soft dough.
    Cover and place in warm place.
    Let it stand until it doubles in size (about 2 hours).
    Drop spoonfuls in hot oil, fry until light brown. Drain on brown paper bag, then roll in sugar.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
