Carrots Almondine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pounds young carrots
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. angostura bitters
    1 tsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. butter
    2 cups milk
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 cup almonds, blanched and slivered
Preparation
    Cut carrots in thin 1/2 inch strips.
    Heat 6 Tbsp. butter in pan.
    Add carrots. Cover and cook on low heat until slightly tender. Make a cream sauce of 2 Tbsp. butter, flour and milk. When sauce thickens, add bitters, sugar and salt.
    Pour over carrots and almonds.
