30 Day Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. 100% Bran Buds
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    4 eggs
    5 c. sifted flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1 qt. buttermilk
    4 c. bran flakes
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 100% Bran.
    Cool.
    Beat together sugar, oil and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Alternate with buttermilk.
    Stir in bran flakes and 100% Bran.
    Spoon batter into greased muffin pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Makes 4 to 6 dozen muffins.
    Keep batter in covered container up to 30 days in refrigerator and bake as needed.
