Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/2 c. uncooked quick oatmeal
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. onion (dried, frozen or fresh)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can water
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, egg, oats, catsup, 2 tablespoons water, onion, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Form into oval patties.
    Pat in flour.
    Brown in shortening in large frying pan; pour off excess grease.
