Party Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. white vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    8 c. popped corn
Preparation
    Combine sugars,
    corn syrup, water, vinegar and salt in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Heat to boiling over medium-high heat and stir. Cook and stir constantly to 260\u00b0 on a candy thermometer or until syrup forms
    a
    hard ball in cold water.
    Reduce heat and stir in butter.
    Pour
    syrup in a thin stream over popcorn and stir
    until well-coated.
    Butter
    hands
    and
    shape
    into 3-inch balls.
