Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. ground almonds (unblanched)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar, flour, almonds and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape with fingers into crescents and arrange on greased cookie sheet.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar.
Cool.
Roll again in confectioners sugar.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
