Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. maraschino syrup
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
2 1/2 c. sugar-coated, crushed corn flakes
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. finely chopped dates
Preparation

Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Blend butter and sugar; add 1 egg at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in syrup and add dry ingredients. Mix well.
Spoon out cookie batter and roll in crushed corn flake crumbs. Place on greased baking sheet. Press 1/4 of cherry lightly
into top of each cookie and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
