Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks margarine or butter, softened
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. all purpose flour
8 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Preparation

Cream together margarine, or butter, and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Add flour and flavoring, mixing well. Pour into a greased tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour; test for doneness.
Can put pats of butter or margarine on top after removing from the oven.
