Orange Glazed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple slices
    1 (3 oz.) orange gelatin
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    dash of salt
    1/4 c. margarine
    5 or 6 medium sweet potatoes
Preparation
    Cook, peel and cut potatoes crosswise into thick strips. Drain pineapple; reserve juice.
    Add water to juice to equal 1 cup.
    Heat juice to a boil. Add gelatin, brown sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved.
    Add butter; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Add potatoes and pineapple slices.
    Simmer about 15 minutes; baste frequently until glazed and syrup thickens.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
