Army Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can pork and beans
    1 bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Fry ground meat until tender (an iron skillet is best).
    Add chopped onion, bell pepper and salt and pepper.
    When onion is transparent, add pork and beans.
    Let simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Good served over bread.
