Ingredients

1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts
coconut
Preparation

Melt the butter, sugar and chopped dates in skillet.
Cook 2 or 3 minutes.
Beat the egg, milk and vanilla; add to date mixture.
Cool 2 minutes more.
Pour over the Rice Krispies.
Add the nuts.
Let cool, form into balls and roll in coconut.
