Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large heads broccoli, cut into small pieces (about 5 c.)
    1 c. shredded carrots
    2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. roasted, salted sunflower seeds
    1/4 c. onion (optional)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine the last 4 ingredients.
    Pour over the broccoli mixture and combine before serving.
