Chicken Stew With Dumplings(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    20 oz. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Bring water to boil in a 6-quart pan.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Add dumplings.
