Sis And Bill'S Favorite Ratatouille - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. mild Italian sausage (turkey sausage works just as well), remove casing
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 qt. tomatoes, canned
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Preparation
    Brown sausage; pour off fat.
    Add onions, celery and green pepper and cook until soft.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook for 2 hours.
    Serve over elbows and top with Parmesan cheese. Freezes well.
