Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 c. broken pecans
    3 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening;
    add eggs and blend together. Sift dry ingredients together, then add to first mixture. Add vanilla
    and
    nuts\tlast.
    Pour
    into
    a
    well-greased and floured pan.
    Bake\t40
    to\t45
    minutes at 300\u00b0.
    When cake is done, pour 1
    small
    bag marshmallows over top and put in oven until they begin to melt.
