Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. coconut
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix butter in milk and sugar in flour.
    Combine mixtures. Separate eggs and add beaten eggs to mixture.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla and coconut.
    Let cool.
    Pour mixture into 10-inch pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add powdered sugar.
    Put on top of pie and brown in a 450\u00b0 oven.
    This pudding mixture can also be used to make lemon cream pie.
