Cranberry Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. chopped cranberries
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. grated orange rind
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with orange juice.
Fold in cranberries, orange rind and nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
Cool in pans on rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pans.
When cool, wrap well.
Will keep for weeks in refrigerator.
