Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium sized head cabbage
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped green peppers
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. bread crumbs or crushed Ritz crackers
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Chop and cook the head of cabbage just crisp-tender.
    Drain. To prepare cream sauce, melt margarine, stir in flour until smooth and add milk.
    Cook over medium heat and stir until thick.
    Saute green peppers and onion in oil until tender.
    Place layer of cabbage in a lightly greased baking dish, sprinkle with sauteed onion and pepper, add grated cheese.
    Cover with cream sauce and cracker crumbs.
    Bake about 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
