Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
    4 carrots
    1 small head cabbage
    1 (15 oz.) can green beans
    1 medium onion
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots.
    Add to water and boil until tender. Brown and drain hamburger.
    Chop cabbage and add to pot with carrots.
    Chop onion and add to pot.
    Add tomatoes and green beans, including juice.
    Add hamburger and seasonings to taste.
    Simmer until raw vegetables are done.
    Serve with hot biscuits or rolls. Serves 4.
