El Paso Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
8 slices hot pepper cheese
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 c. sour cream
1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chunky salsa
Preparation

Chop onion and green pepper finely.
Add onion, pepper and taco seasoning mix to meat.
Mix well.
Divide meat into eight equal pieces and form eight patties.
Grill or fry to desired doneness.
Turn hamburgers at least once during cooking.
Top with a slice of cheese, sour cream and salad.
Serve immediately on a hamburger bun.
Makes 8 burgers.
