Six Week Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box raisin bran
    3 c. sugar
    1 qt. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. melted shortening (I use oil)
    4 eggs, beaten
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix bran, sugar, flour, salt and soda in a large bowl.
    Add beaten eggs, shortening and buttermilk and mix well.
    Store in covered container in refrigerator.
    When you want some muffins, take out and fill muffin pans 2/3 for baking.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Mix will keep up to six weeks in refrigerator.
