Cream Of Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. sliced leeks
    6 c. diced asparagus
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1 c. light cream
    2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese (optional)
    salt, pepper and nutmeg
Preparation
    Melt butter in large pot and saute leeks until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Add asparagus and chicken broth.
    Simmer until asparagus is tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Puree in blender and reheat.
    Add cream, Parmesan cheese and salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
