Mom'S Baker'S Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put milk into saucepan.
    Heat at medium heat.
    Add flour, a little at a time, with whisk.
    Cook slow, over medium heat, until very thick.
    Cool completely in refrigerator.
    Put paste into large bowl.
    Beat paste, add sugar, margarine, Crisco and vanilla. Frosts 1 (8-inch) cake or 1 sheet cake.
