Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped English walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugars and shortening until light and fluffy and sugar is dissolved.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0. Cool and frost with Caramel Butter Frosting.
