Asparagus-Peas Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can asparagus
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can English peas
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 stick butter, melted
    4 bread slices, trimmed and cut into 3 pieces each
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Drain asparagus and place in baking dish.
    Cover with peas and soup, mixed.
    Add sliced water chestnuts and sprinkle with cheese. Melt butter in shallow dish.
    Dredge the 12 pieces of bread in butter and place on top of casserole.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
