Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    7 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Pet milk (evaporated), diluted with 1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and cocoa.
    Add flour and salt alternately with milk to which vanilla has been added.
    Beat to smooth mixture.
    Add nuts and bake 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
