Mom And Dad'S Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
    6 large or 7 medium eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients 3 times.
    (Very important!)
    Set aside. Cream the sugar, margarine and shortening.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add flavorings.
    Mix in milk and dry ingredients alternately.
    Bake in well-greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
