Frozen Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. graham wafer crumbs
    1/3 c. maple syrup
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. cream
Preparation
    Press 1/2 of
    crumbs
    in an 8-inch square pan.
    Cook maple syrup and egg
    yolks
    over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool.
    Beat egg whites; gradually add sugar.
    Fold meringue into cooled mixture.
    Whip
    cream
    and
    fold into meringue mixture.
    Turn into prepared pan.
    Sprinkle
    with remaining
    crumbs.
    Freeze until firm.
    Cut into squares and serve.
