A Different Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 chopped onion
    1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
    2 - 16 oz. cans whole tomatoes
    1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions
    1 c. mozzarella cheese
    8 oz. American cheese slices
    1 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, garlic powder, and onion and drain.
    Add tomato paste, whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and oregano and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.
    Layer in a 9 x 13 inch pan in the following sequence:
    Thin layer of sauce, 3 lasagna noodles, 1 c. sauce, mozzarella cheese, 3 lasagna noodles, 1 c. sauce, cheese slices, 3 lasagna noodles, remainder of the sauce, and parmesan cheese.
    Bake covered at 350 degrees for about one hour.
    Then cook uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is nice and bubbly.
