Ingredients

1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix the raisins and water.
Cook until water is gone.
Cool. Cream together the sugar, oleo, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture. Roll into balls from teaspoon.
Roll in sugar and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly brown.
