Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
2 sticks oleo butter
2 c. milk
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. raisins
2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. cold water
2 c. plain flour
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cook sugar, oleo, milk, beaten eggs, raisins, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon until it comes to a boil; set aside to cool. Dissolve soda in water and add to the boiled ingredients. Add flour small amounts at a time, beating well after each addition. Add nuts and bake for 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0. Turn oven to 300\u00b0 and bake for 45 minutes. (Use greased and floured tube pan.)
