Chili Cashews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    10 chili pequins
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (12 oz.) can salted cashews, peanuts or mixed nuts
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Pour olive oil into heavy frying pan.
    Crush chili pequins and add to oil along with garlic powder; mix well with oil.
    Add nuts and toast over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Mix seasonings and nuts together thoroughly.
    When nuts are toasted, sprinkle with chili powder; stir so chili powder is well mixed with nuts.
    Pour into serving bowl.
    Makes about 2 cups.
