Mock Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. meat fat or butter
1 lb. ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
1 (8 oz.) can green beans, drained
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
5 medium potatoes, cooked, mashed
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten

Preparation

Saute onion with butter until golden.
Add ground beef, salt and pepper.
Brown.
Then add green beans and tomato soup.
Pour into casserole dish.
Mix mashed potatoes, milk and egg.
Spoon mounds over meat mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
