Squash And Tomato Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large yellow squash
    chicken stock
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. snipped (or 3/4 tsp. dried) basil
    1 1/2 tsp. snipped (or 3/4 tsp. dried) oregano
    3 medium tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Pare squash and cut in thirds.
    Simmer in covered skillet in 1 inch of stock until tender (about 8 minutes).
    Remove squash to broiler pan.
    Sprinkle with half the salt, pepper, basil and garlic.
    Slice tomatoes thinly and place over squash.
    Sprinkle with remaining spices and cheese.
    Broil 3 inches from heat until cheese is brown (about 3 to 5 minutes).
    Serves 6.
