Never Fail Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. melted Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. hot water
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine shortening, sugar and molasses. Add dry ingredients alternately with hot water, beating until smooth. Bake in a greased 6 x 10-inch pan. Serve hot or cool.
