Fudge Cake(Yields 48 Portions) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 oz. shortening
2 lb. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
6 eggs (10 oz.)
5 oz. cocoa
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 lb. 12 oz. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
3 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla on medium speed for 10 minutes.
Add eggs and mix on medium speed for 5 minutes.
Mix cocoa and hot water.
Combine flour, salt and soda.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and cocoa to creamed mixture on low speed.
Scrape sides of bowl.
Continue mixing until smooth and all ingredients are mixed.
