Tomato, Eggplant And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion
    1 garlic clove
    oil
    1 1/2 lb. ripe tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. dried basil
    salt and pepper
    4 eggplant
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
    2 Tbsp. dried bread crumbs
Preparation
    Peel and finely chop onion and garlic.
    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and fry onion and garlic until soft.
    Peel, seed and chop tomatoes.
    Add to pan with 1/2 teaspoon basil and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and cook for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
