Fudgiest Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3 oz. baking chocolate
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)

Preparation

Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; cool slightly.
Beat in remaining ingredients by hand.
Pour into greased 8 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until set or about 30 minutes.
