Quick Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can peach halves
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 tsp. whole allspice
Preparation
    Drain syrup from peaches.
    Add brown sugar, vinegar and spices.
    Boil mixture 5 minutes.
    Add peach halves and simmer 5 minutes longer.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
    Yields
    7 to 8 servings.
